FORUM EVENTS

Saturday 10th July 2010: Proms in the Park with the superb Becontree Brass Band and amazing firework spectacular: Becontree Brass provide a wide and varied repetoire of music, popular and light classical, culminating in the traditional "Last Night of the Proms" Finale brilliantly accompanied  by the spectacular synchcronised pyrotechnics display.  With a professional soloist leading the singing of "Rule Britannia" and promenaders waving flags all around the Park, the atmosphere is amazing.

At our last Proms in the Park, we had family groups from toddlers to granny, couples, friends, individuals, picnic blankets, deckchairs, gazebos, new-born babies in buggies, groups with pasting tables groaning with a gourmet buffet and people with sandwiches in a plastic box.

In other words, dress up or dress down, bring your union jacks, bring champagne or pop, come on your own or with a crowd -you will enjoy yourselves and we will be delighted to see you.

The Concert starts at 7.30, fireworks about 10/10.30.  Tickets are still £15 (no increase over the last 4 years!) and the first 120 tickets sold qualify for a guaranteed place in the village hall if the weather is foul. Children under 12 free

Order tickets through the "Contact Us" button on this website, or 'phone Janet on 01268 543214.  Some Early Bird tickets still available.

Code of Conduct

When attending any meeting there are guidelines that need to be followed.

Although the Community Forum meetings are friendly and informal, order needs to be kept, especially when holding a public meeting,as often lots of people have something they would like to say. The Community Forum Code of Conduct is a simple document that guides the way the meeting should be run. Please read
